NEW HARTFORD, CT — On Friday, November 12, 2004 Ski Sundown will open its lodge doors welcoming skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts alike to the premier showing of the following films:

“Unspoken” by Right Side Productions was filmed mostly on the East Coast at places such as Sugarbush, Ski Sundown, and Loon Mountain. “Unspoken” will provide a half hour of crazy aerials, bone wrenching crashes, and pure fun. If the skiing and snowboarding doesn’t get your adrenaline pumping, the insane riding on street bikes, skateboards, and BMX bikes will.

“Wicked” by SAS Films follows twenty unknown East Coast athletes as they open eyes and unleash their determination, and style, in the place they call home…New England. The movie includes clips videoed at Ski Sundown during the 2003-2004 season.

“Yearbook the Skiing Class of 2004” by Matchstick Productions, features the honor students of skiing performing at the top of the game. Classrooms include British Columbia, Colorado, Norway and France. For the teaser and other tour dates visit skimovie.com.

“High Five” by Level 1 Productions, is a rollercoaster skiing epic filmed entirely on location in Eastern Europe

“Moment of Truth” by Finger on Da Trigger offers progressive snowboarding in its rawest form, from the cold snowy back country to the even colder concrete city streets.

Ski Sundown, coming up on its 36th season is located at 126 Ratlum Road, New Hartford, Connecticut. Doors open at 6pm and shows start at 7pm. Admission is $10 at the door. Adult refreshments and a barbecue on the deck will be available for purchase. There will be raffle prizes from the different production companies and a showcase of some of Ski Sundown’s rail features in the base area, weather permitting. For more information as well as other event listings for the season visit www.skisundown.com.
