Date(s) Skied: March 17 2005

Resort or Ski Area: Ski sundown,CT

Conditions: Corn snow

Trip Report: My wife and I wanted to take our 6 year old skiing one more time this season just for the day so we picked Sundown because of its location to Longisland. We set my daughter up on a 1 hr private lesson which was a waste of $70 since she was skiing much worse after that hr then when we ended our last trip at Sugarbush a few wks ago. During that lesson my wife and I skied about the whole mountain which was small but nice no crowds nice people good corn snow. After the hr lesson was up we went back to the bunny hill and took over teaching my daughter how to ski, needless to say at the end of the day she was skiing at her highest level. :D Good close location to LongIsland easy day trip, the mountain was better then I was expecting and a good trip for my daughter. A few pics on the way.

Glad to hear you had a good time at my home mountain! Too bad the private lesson didn't work out for your daughter. I'm a little surprised, I usually hear really good things about the instructors there...

I new you worked there but I don't know your name so figured I would never find you if you were working but it would have been nice to meet you. The lesson well I don't know what happend...When I got to her she had no idea how to turn. Then I reminded her of the pizza turn after that it all came back to her.

I wasn't there on the 17th anyway (I only work there part time, I'm stuck in a factory the rest of the time... :( ). My name is Brian, but that likely wouldn't have gotten you very far, since there are a few Brian's working as lifties. ;) If you're ever up that way again we'll have to try to meet up! :)
