I have the Suunto S6. It works pretty well for tracking vert.

Pros: All purpose watch, can download data to PC
Cons: Needs a reference altitude. I use my car's GPS to set the reference. App won't download if screen resolution is greater than 1024x768:blink:

I've got the Sunto S-Lander. I love it. Tracks my vert and laps pretty accurately. If I were to do it all over again I would get one of the ones with the altimeter and the heart rate monitor all in one as I have another Sunto Heart Rate Monitor, so hard to wear both at the same time. Highly recommend the Sunto products. Plus with the heart rate monitors you can get the foot pods and bike pods to set them up for running and biking.

do you have the same problem with screen resolution that I reported?

I haven't run into that issue yet. I'll have to check to see what my screen resolution is when I get home tonight.
