Has anyone here skied in Newfoundland? I've heard they have interesting skiing up there. Treeline is very low. Whole western side of the island is the long range mountains. Exotic place to go skiing.

It doesn't hurt Le Massif or Mont Ste Anne which are practically at sea level.Probably their base elevation of 79 feet above sea level isn't helping
Haven't... Check up on where a ferry leaves from...PEI? or NovaScotia?....
Labrador has several interesting mountain ranges doesn't seem there is much access in the winter.
Go to the Chic Chocs. A lot closer.
The meatheads skied there in one of their films, either born from ice or snowgods (can't remember which) if you want to check it out on film
Marble looks tough, has a HSD quad, 1700' of vert, and gets plenty of snow but they have only been open 14 days this year?

I wa I am wondering if it is a bit warmer than Quebec due to being farther east and surrounded by the Atlantic? Gulf Stream? Being a sailor I should probably know this but am ignorant.
