Randi and were planning on heading to Ascutney this weekend, but we thinking that may not happen with the weather forcast for S. VT. Would it be worth it to head up to the MRV instead? What is the weather outlook that far north? I just don't want to drive 3 plus hours for sub par conditions.

My Prediction is Pain, Fool!

But SRSLY..

Saturday: Periods of freezing rain and sleet. High near 34. North wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Not lookin' much better, Sport. Tremblant may be a better bet.

as a very famous and great man once said

We need a miracle.

Only thing is they still arent totally committed to a storm track. It could still push further east which would definitely help the mrv and points north. I'm not sure anything can save s. vt at this point. If you can make a game time decision, that may be your best bet. If you need to book in advance, i say go for it!

Its going to be to close to call the rain /snow line seems to be going directly through lake placid. anything to the east and south are in for the same crap we got earlier in the week.

Best chance of POW WHITEFACE MOUNTAIN. holy crap how many times do you see that. I just jinxed us

i was thinking the same thing. regardless of what happens with the primary system, nws i saying the northern adks will be in line for around 6" of backlash snow.
