yes, the breaking of two bones certainly made your injury alot work. The good news is you have 10 months to rehab. Go slow and work into it, dont push it. Your knee will tell you when you are entering the danzer zone.

Washed all the ski gear, pulled the liners out of the boots and let everything dry thoroughly and packed it all away. Haven't done anything with the skis. I have a pair of bindings waiting for new boards so when I find some, I'll bring them all to the shop for a summer tune.

Had a great season and reminisced as I packed it all away, but I'm feeling pretty content. Only seven months to wait... :???:

When you put your skis away for the summer do you do any thing to them or do you just hang them up and tune them up at the beginning of next season?

I dropped my boards off for the old summer tune this past Friday. I love when they ask when you need them back by.... Not soon enough...

Bit of a contrarian by nature so I went the opposite way. Just tuned and waxed my skis last night. Gotta do something about that grabby spring snow!

I'm holding off until the end of the week before I wax my skis, not sure which wax to use. I was planning on warm wax, my wife is convinced that we'll have a Cinco Di Majo snowstorm, love that girl! ;)

JPTracker- I normally clean the bases with a cheap wax (scrap the skis while the wax is still hot). after that I will put on a coat of wax without scraping it off for the summer.

My last day was 4/20. As soon as I get a free weekend, I'll over-wax the bottoms and let the wax cover the edges.
