Name the most annoyingly slow chairlift that ISN'T in a beginner area

Because I'm freezing my nuts off most of the time I'm on that thing, Jay's Green Mountain Freezer can feel like the slowest lift on the planet.

Another vote for Little Whitecap though. If it were closer to the ground, it may be faster to just get off and walk up the hill.

Yeah, you're going to be waiting a while for a chair there.

The former Willoughby Quad at Burke was slow. Other slow lifts in the NE that I know of: agree with Little Whitecap and the slow doubles at Smuggs.

Doesn't exist anymore but the longest, slowest lift I can remember was the double chair on Big Spruce at Stowe.

Sugarloaf's West Mountain Double. I think Riverc0il listened to at least 1/2 of his Ipod collection on that ride.

Yup. I've rode all the other lifts mentioned so far and they don't compare to these two. The double at Cranmore was a dog too but that is gone now.

West Mountain Double and Snubber at Loaf are both pretty slow, though those are not main mountain lifts and geared for all skiers included beginners so those two might not be a fair comparison. If you start adding beginner lifts onto the list, it is going to be quite long.

The summit triple at Attitash is pretty frickin slow, and I hope it never gets "upgraded" to a HSQ.

Good one. I knew I was missing at least one more. I'd put the Attitash Triple at third slowest for a major lift in the east.
