It did have some useful attributes....
Google Maps integrated into the positioning system gives great interactive traffic reports

You could get to web sites that were blocked by the corporate firewall and you didn't leave a footprint going there.

I could post gloating reports to message boards mid-day on powder days.
There's three reasons why I keep one:grin:

I could give mine up for a regular phone anytime I want. However, I like responding to emails when I'm doing things I shouldn't be giving the impression I'm actually working, and my boss is none the wiser.

My work Blackberry allows me to ski when I'm out during a work day...
I can respond to quick emails on the chair.. maybe stop and make a call.. not on the chair..
It's better then the alternative... Which would be sitting at home...

Because of the bby I've gotten a lot more midweek days...

Weekends... it stays in the ski locker...
