Snowbasin patroller controversy

I am the 1st to say "some" of the snowboarders are douchebags, but that patroller was over the top. I would have like to seen before the video started to get the real story, but there is no reason to swear, especially since the boarders were polite and cooperative. These guys (Patrollers) would not last 5 minutes at Hunter!

First, let's talk about the instructor's jackets. If I had to wear a cross between robin's egg blue and baby blue on top of being a ski instructor....well my ass would be tight and chapped at the same time. Second. So the kid cut it close to the baby blue guy stopped by the jump. He was in complete control and posed no danger or threat and easily stopped for the second tight assed baby blue. First instructor's reaction should have been, "Guess I'm standing too close to this little kicker." Second instructor's reaction should have been, "baby blue is standing too close to that kicker."

The kids were, I thought both being polite and reasonable...fashion choice aside.

And finally - the patroller is a complete ass and idiot. Just take the kids aside and say, " Look buddy you gots to watch out for these guys in the baby blue; their asses are chapped so efffing tight they can't even ski a lick. Just give 'em some more room and slow down a bit or next time I'm a gonna have to pull your pass for a couple o days."

Expect more videotaped confrontations with patrol. Seeing a large up tick in helmet cams. Must have been a big Xmas item this year.

I'm sure the patroller regrets his "STFU".

The kid filming shouldve have kept his mouth shut. He didnt have anything to do with the situation. That being said the patroller shouldnt have sworn at him.

I don't have a problem with the swearing, I have a problem with the fact that very little if anything precipatated the incident.

And I am the 1st to say "some" of the skiers are douchebags also. Actually since skiers outnumber snowboarders 2:1 its safe to say statistically there are more DB skiers. I just hate it when people say/think dumb sh@t like this.
