There's actually a picture of a snowboarder sitting (near the edge of the trail and above a lip, amazingly :wink: ) if you click the marker. Odd, but a feature from Panaramio, I suppose.

i sit on the trail sometimes when i ski. however when this happens it normally isnt by choice and my ski's are typically lost in the powder somewhere

I like snowboarders...Think that I wouldn't like being strapped to one big board. As for sitting...you can sit all you want...just try not to sit in the middle of the trail with your 5 closest friends!

Cool.... As long as you don't stop on the sides of the trail where all the good snow is with all your friends.. :)

After 20 years if skiing I started snowboarding this year, I don't think I could go back. I sat down saturday at wildcat and just enjoyed the sun, the snow, and one hell of a view of tucks. I never would have done that on skis. The funny part is that I was thinking about the comments I get from people about sitting in the middle of the trails, and pushing all the good snow off the trails.
