Since options are out there know... which pass and where are you going to buy it. I freeking hate polls but add one if necessary:razz:

I'm getting two unlimited Maine( Sunday River, Sugaloaf passes) One young adult one under 12. unlimited..... with my bias I think the Maine pass is the best deal I have heard so far. Maine residenst kids pass prices are outstanding. Boyne has protected the locals. Kind of like they get marketing.:flag: My 2nd choice would have been the Attitash snow pass.

Dunno yet...looking at the following pass options for an area closer to home:
  • Pats Peak
  • Crotched
  • Wachusett
  • Ragged? ($199 pass)

Hammer with you local and the work you need to do to get the kids going.... I see the Pats as a great situation for you, short ride night skiing, plus i bet your kids friends will be there also. Other than days on my pass, Pats will be the place I buy the most tickets to ski this year. A great place with the skiers interest always taken to heart.

Only two passes? Am I missing something here, Bob?

As for us, one Pico adult pass and one K-Mart/Pico College Pass.

Well Bob, I think my pass is the best deal as it's free plus free golf to go with the skiing. plus with a little "work" I get paid and get to cut the liftline

We are going with two ragged passes and two maine silver passes, the 50% off at brighton is the deal clincher

Originally we were planning two granite passes but this combination gives us far superior terrain. We will be spending an extra $200 but the discount at brighton will eat into that.

He said it was a better deal. He didn't say he was going to get it.

I knew that.

I'm trying to see if there is any sentiment among the deal hunters in NY/NJ to drive extra to ski at the resorts they perceive as offering the best value.

It's clearly a better deal for folks within 3 hours of SR/SL. Maybe not so much for folks who would have to drive twice as far.

Me: Two silver passes and two junior gold, please and a side of fries.

Boyne: That'll be 2k, would you like ketchup ?

Me: Yes, Yes, I would. Thank You

So, as I understand it, my kids can get a Junior Gold for an extra 50 bucks a piece. Works for me ! The kids always end up going with friends on blackout days, costing me out of pocket on day passes, I just saved about 400 bucks WOOO HOOO !!!!!
THANK YOU, BOYNE
