Hiked the southern Taconic wednesday bash bish to sunste rock and beyond to another overlook. Really awesome hike very overlooked. Very little ice damamge saw trail mainteneance people out they do a great job. I hiked perrys peak the other day and it was like a war zone my arms got more of a work out moving tree limbs than my legs. Are there any good free maps of the taconic online? Any other good sections I have done alander...which by the way is supposedly a war zone as well.
