Not sure if there are any trekkies out there. I enjoy star trek, not sure if i really qualify as a "trekkie".

Anyway, not sure if any others of you get the cable channel G4. But they play a ton of trek. One such time is weekdays at 11. I loved when it was on every night on nyc ch. 11 at midnight, followed by, If I remember correctly, twilight zone. And, I think 2 episodes of the odd couple at 11. (unless of course the yankees were out west, in which case everything would be all out of sorts). Ahh, the good ole days..

netflix, baby! all the series, all the seasons, all the discs!!! we are currently finishing up rewatching all of TNG. last disc of season six is on the way. we watch about 1-2 discs per week, each disc has four episodes. not sure what we are going to do after TNG is done. i never got into DS9, didn't like voyager, and never saw enterprise but that didn't look so hot either. in other words, i'm not a fan of rick berman  and the direction him and others took the series after TNG was wrapped up and roddenberry's influence was finished. i wouldn't consider myself a trekkie either, i just really enjoy ToS and TNG. good characters and good stories, lots of moral and ethical issues, great actting, etc.

I enjoy Start Trek too, but wouldn't consider myself a trekkie (common theme in here). Never really got into DS9, but I did like Voyager and Enterprise (I was kinda pissed when they cancelled it).

We only have basic cable here so I don't get G4... I might have to start putting some episodes on the netflix list though.

Seems like all you "trekkies" are in denial that you're all just a bunch of "trekkies".... ;)

I'll always believe that the original "Star Trek" series was the best TV ever made.

I do watch the originals on G4. I've seen every episode 100 times and I still enjoy watching.

Not me... In fact - I was really hoping to get to the convention this weekend in Vegas... But it didn't quite pan out..

I've been a fan since i was a kid in the 60's...

I like Star Trek too. My two favorite are the original and Deep Space 9. But getting to the good old days of channel 11. Remember the Saturday Drive in Kong Fu movies at 6:00? My parents used to drag me to 5:00 Saturday mass and I couldn't wait to go home, eat pizza and watch them. How about the old pix video game people used to call up and play? They would shoot by saying "pix!"

i claim not guilty. any trekkie would definitely have seen more than half of all produced trek TV episodes. i have definitely seen less than half of all the series shows put together and to boot, i can't even remember any of the ToS movies except the first one and voyage home. i don't recall seeing insurection either :p besides, any non-trekkie star trek fan knows that real trekkies go to conventions, get dressed up, read the books, and go to memory-alpha.org to study canon. i do have an enterprise ncc1701-d live journal icon though

Holy crap, there are a lot of us here.

Yup, I'm a closet trekkie. I spent 9 monthes watching every episode, movie and indie episodes in chronological order. Everysingle episode ever made including the animated and the new frontiers indie crap. I almost went insane while doing it too.

If anyone want to borrow it, I did happen to burn all of that to DVD before removing it from my computer, great quality.

For those of you who didn't watch it, Enteprise was an excellent series which held firm to gene roddenberrys principals of the show.

Well, I had to bump it up to admit that I'm coming out of the Trek Closet.

Indeed, I am a Trekkie. Rather hardcore, in fact. But really only TOS, TNG, and movies. DS9's alright, I'm not into Voyager, and Enterprise makes me cringe. All the movies were good. II, IV, VI, GEN, and FC were the best. V and NEM were the weakest. I'm not sure what I think of the new movie coming out in 2008. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm a Trekkie to the point that I blew hundreds of dollars at a convention 2 years ago, did photo ops with Jonathan Frakes (who was born in my hometown, btw) and Brent Spiner, got a few autographs, and bought all kinds of ridiculous stuff (like NCC-1701-D blueprints :) ). I got into recreating LCARS graphics a few years ago, and have drawn probably 30 to 40 panels to date (haven't done one in a while, though). I've made attempts at creating props. I have a TNG uniform (and yes, I wore it to the convention).

Wow... I need to get a life.

well..... what color???

as long as you don't have a Klingon outfit and get dolled (TOS or TNG style for that matter), it is all good. there recently was an item on ebay selling an entire apartment built on a voyager theme, now that was over board.

Red... command uniform, of course! You don't think I'd settle for anything less?

Actually, maybe I should ski in my Trek uniform sometime. It would certainly attract some attention!

You know, I saw that apartment on Ebay. If only I had the money..........

I've considered doing one room in my house Star Trek style. Maybe I'll make my office into Picard's ready room. And I always thought it would be cool to have a media room laid out like the Enterprise D bridge!

I am no Trekkie, is there a skiing equivalent I wonder, but I clearly remember begging my mother if I could watch Star Trek as it was past my tv school night curfew. She was pretty tough but she always let me. Obviously she knew it was a great show....

I have also enjoyed watching the other 2 crews but for some reason never did get into Deep Space 9. I had a wicked crush on Seven in the last version...she was so smart!:lol:

Too bad they never went sking on the Holideck.
