My wife took some cute pics of our daughter 'reading' Skiing mag with me. She's about 3 mos old. I thought some of you might get a kick out of it... :D

Thanks, shes not really that little though. 9+ pounds at birth and 17.5 or so by 3 mos... Shes already out growing her 3-6 mos clothes.

My wife is trying to get me to shave off the goatee. I trimmed it down quite a bit since the pic, but she still doesn't like it anymore... I'm holding out for a bit more. ;)

Perhaps she just looks tiny when you're holding her. ;) It's all relative...

I thought the same thing after posting... When you see her next to other kids her age, or even older, she looks big. ;)

Wow! That's huge. My twins were born 4 pounds a piece (7 weeks early). They're 12 weeks old and about 10 1/2 pounds.

Is this RossiSki, RossiSkier? If so, welcome back. If not, just welcome...

After reading these posts, guess I'll have to start my twins at 4 and not 3. But snowshoeing starts as soon as they can walk.

Dave - Beautiful girls!!

Rossiskier - Congratulations!! Wow, twins! Doubly blessed! :D BTW, she was 9 lbs 2 oz and born 1 week early. 2 4lb-ers would have been nice. ;)

Brian - You didn't post the really good picture! The one where she looks like she's reading the magazine and you're smiling at the camera. :D

Marc - I know we've watched the Meathead films a few times when she was napping in the room, but I don't think she was awake. She does stare intently at our poster of Tuckerman's Ravine that we have in the living room, though! ;)

Greg - She's bigger than my friend's 7 month old. :D There's also a girl at daycare that's about 5 months older than she is (and already walking!) that's smaller than she is. It's really funny to see them together!

BUMP -

Anyone planning on starting their kids this winter? Or have any good stories about getting the little ones going on skis?
