About the coming winter. I know the farmers almanac says cold and snow but I have a bad feeling it won't turn out that way. No basis for this except I "feel it"

Anyone else, in all seriousness, have a bad feeling?

Well, I have a bad feeling about the start date. I doubt I will get any pre-Halloween runs this year, though I would love to be wrong about that.

I'm optimistic about the season as a whole. It has certainly cooled down quickly from summer temps in the last few weeks. One season isn't necessarily like the last year's. So far this hurricane season has been much better than last year's, knock on wood.

HEH! Ya...why not go and buy a new ski house to top it all off...with a new snowblower and a snowmobile. That combo is deadly on cold snowy winter forecasts.

It worked on my pool...and on my snowblower. :<

Really man, positive energy! Last winter certainly wasn't one a great one for the books, but there were plenty of people out getting after it (what little of "it" they could find!).
It's all about your perspective!

I can absolutely, positively guarantee and cold snowy fall/early winter, as I have just started construction on my new house.

This fall is just bound to have bad weather, ie cold and snowy, because of that:wink:

hey, i said I have a bad feeling

some long range indicators do say cold/snowy, just throwing out my gut feeling

on the other hand, a bad winter is better than no winter at all and all "bad" winters have great pow days.

Loafer...thanks for making that commitment. Your efforts are worth several snowblower and snowmobile purchases....maybe dozens.

As for snow dancing...not until Sep 23 (just after midnight)....Autumnal Equinox!
