Okay to figure out which trail is truley viewed to be the steepest ill make a poll...
if you vote other just say which trail it is and maybe provide a pic :D

for sugarloaf i just figured out the drop is called pure heat so that is what i am talking about

i voted for jays face chutes... i never skied them but i hiked up to them during the glades and chutes bash and they are pretty nuts(anyone know if they still do that)

Yeah they still do the competition on the Face Chutes. I would say that it is really close between the Face Chutes and Freefall. I've skied both and I would give Jay the slight edge although Freefall definitely has a more sustained pitch.

nice i love that contest, someone did a front flip of that face chutes man was that sick

probably cause no more than 9 AZ'ers have skied any of them and therefore have a legitiment opinion :lol: i certainly am not one of the 9 but i have likely skied steeper OB i'd guess. and look forward to the chutes at jay and paradise at MRG next season. if paradise is anything like the pitch of fall line next door (without the waterfall jump of course), then it's definitely not the steepest in the east by a long shot.

After sincere consideration, I voted for the Face Chutes at Jay. I didn't consider them when I mentioned Paradise at MRG because they aren't always open; I've skied them only once in less than ideal conditions.

I can't comment on Rumor or Freefall because I've never been to either resort.
