A couple days late on the report here, and the snow conditions are now much
different with the mixed precip, but figured I'd share a couple pictures.
Skied from around 10am till 4pm...wasn't going to stay that late, but it was
that good. Met up with my co-worker Yanni who is a great rider and doesn't
mind traverses (essential for getting in and out of many of these places)
The 27" of snow the resort reported in the last 7 days definitely covered
things up again. Too bad we have to start over again. The weather was
bluebird and its days like these when I wonder just how much better can it
get? Full sun, good snowpack, plenty of snow in the past week, still areas
of untracked but settled powder, and snow-caked trees.

Skied everything from Chapel Woods' perfectly spaced hardwoods...

To the steep Nosedive gullies opposite the Hazelton Chutes. Here's Yanni
surfing the powder...still finding plenty of untracked after the weekend
crowds got at it.

Stream crossings were starting to get better with the recent snow and the
mushroom caps of snow on top of the boulders help show the solid
mid-elevation/2,500ft snowpack on Mansfield.

We hit the Bypass Chutes a couple times which were nice...always good back
there. Late in the day we found ourselves at a certain bench looking back
at the front four.

Last run down between 3-4pm finally brought the shadows across the Angle
Food area but we were finding good snow and fun stuff all the way down to RT
108. These were taken at a fairly low elevation where there's still a
decent amount of snow for playing in the woods.

Friday will be my next day at Stowe so we'll have to see how she faired
through this system.
