very windy day with the triple opening the day. About 12cars in midway all day.

Trails in that area were protcted and held onto the foot of snow well.
Pow everywhere had become windslab but forgiving and turnable.
woods in that area were wonderful. Temps were minus 10 at base warming to minus 5
by days end.

About 11 the quad started turning. It was a very brutal ride with
wind gusts that made temps to the ski unpleasant. Windswept summit and main blue black trails
were frozen groomer with nothing loose to turn on. Chin woods
were fantastic with boot deep fluff easily blowable to waist high.
Fis type pic potential. Untracked in many places all day. Ditto for other woods all over this side.
Best marked trails were those left nat. Most things groomed
were blown clean and no fun cept for some lower mt. Greens which seemed to hold the pow
gondi never opened. Trails we got to from quad were moonscape
great day with toe warmers to ski woods. Never seen Mani so un crowded

Winds have now subsided dress warm ski woods and you'll
have a fantastic day.

we hit the Gondi trails from the quads. They were completely windswept and were untracked. But had the consistency of fgr but frozen solid; immoveable. Mid mt narrow trailswere the only
ones tokeep their snow, which was boot deep. There was windslab, even in the woods, but it was turnable, workable kind.
Woods were deeper, easily could blow it to your thighs high. Best place to be.

Saturday at jay.

Ps, the brilliant sun made for spectacular pics.
