Haven't been to stowe in a while, good to reacquaint myself with the mountain and some of the long runs Stowe has. Mostly once again stuck to groomers, but bumps did get soft and nice towards mid-day. Pretty awesome coverage across the mountain -- could use a local tour sometime, I feel like I know this mountain has tons of secrets that I haven't discovered yet. Gondola line was very short, much better than Smuggs the day before. We were pleasantly surprised to find the light lift lines (maybe everyone slept in instead of gettting up an hour earlier).

skied there on Saturday on picture perfect day. basically skied bumps all day with exception of going over to ski Spruce Peak area for first time ever. Run of day may have been Goat which was closed at top as you'd expect but had great snow and no one else on it. of all the trails, liftline was most disappointing because of irregularity of bumps and icey hardpack - exception being the section of trail at the bottom of picture above. Chin Clip off the gondola had good snow and bumps. Whirlaway on spruce side was fun. entrance to national was pretty slick due to people skidding down steep entrance. we ended avoiding the quad until after three due to lines and skied the double all day which was almost ski on.
