Nice! I was eyeing the rock garden on the way up. I never really ski it. Once last year. I'd rather go right at the top and ski woods to the road. Fun hucks in there though.

Yeah. That might have been the way to go, but we had the itch for the garden ;)

i heard Hourglass wasn't much fun (like most of the stuff just off the ridge) but Hellbrook was thigh deep all the way to 108. I wish I had hit that, too.

Thanks as always Scott. Are you as pessimistic about the January weather as Josh Fox at MRG?

hell brook is not in. Once the beast comes back in it is an open crevass. I dropped into it low day before yesterday and almost had to take the skis off and free climb out. Took me 30 minutes to go 200 yards to the mandatory left. I would not go in there until we get a major event, or at least be prepared to scramble out half way down. fyi. Hourglass was scoured out, upper profanity was too, but once you got thru the first choke it was really nice. The trees up high were grotesquely deep.
Great days.

Woah, outstanding!
Thanks Scott!

I'm certainly going to have to find a local who will show me the BC when we come up. We're not up there nearly enough to figure it out by ourselves.

When are you coming up?
