Got back at it today, much better than I expected. Lots of trails still have a good base, sun bowl may not survive the deluge this weekend, but the main mountain seems pretty solid.
Such easy access there. And good tacos! Too bad there isn't good access parking on the main side of the hill.Luv the sunbowl, either at the ski access spots or next to the building

at least I now know how to avoid your music in the parking loteven the garage is kinda annoying. my satelite radio and internet access stops working so no music or anything while booting up. i dont love being 'inside'. and its dang tight in there. and then you gotta walk up a few flights of creeky old stairs. i try to park in the handful of spots where you aren't under the top level
but I don't like parking inside either...at least I now know how to avoid your music in the parking lot![]()
Not cheap to get water as clear and tropical blue as Stratton typically gets their pond skim water to be! That's 10's of thousands of bottles of Perrier they have to pour into their pond to keep their regulars Happy!Franks and Tamarack opened after lunch and were both is fantastic condition, lapped them for a while. Several routes down main mountain look deep enough to make it through the washout but the trail count’s gonna take a huge hit. Probably did my last sunbowl runs today.
The pond skim is $45, I think there’s an ikon discount.
