Anyone know where good deals are for Student Season Passes?

I looked a Windhamd $250 dollars. Is it Worth it? Help please!

Also is there any places where the regular daily lift ticket is cheaper for students?

Thanks for the Help!

willing to travel to vermont. looking for day trips. Like leave 6am snowboard than come home. Mostly Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Snowboard all types of terrain. Any good values?

$395 valid every day of the year at Mount Snow, Attitash, and Crotched. Still a great deal, even though it was only $295 before October 1.

If you are going for a student pass, better go soon because prices will increase if they haven't already. You have to buy early to get the best deals.

If you want VT, then Mt. Snow probably is best. Mt. Snow probably will already be 3.5-4 hours, and I can't imagine doing that on a regular basis for a day trip. I've done 3.5-hour day trips a couple times but wouldn't buy a season's pass planning on doing that frequently. Leaving at 6 means you aren't skiing until at least 10. Any other place in VT would be further.

Someplace in the Catskills seems like the best bet based if you want a more reasonable drive. I've never been to Windham, but Hunter is known to have more challenge if that is something that concerns you. I don't know what their student-pass deal is like though.

Westchester County, NY and a Mountain near you!
Where are you coming from in Westchester? That's making very good time for Jiminy, in my experience.

I can get on the Saw Mill in about 3 minutes from my house. I pick it up about 6-7 minutes south of the Taconic/Saw Mill interchange in Hawthorne/pleasantville.

I consistently make Jiminy in under 2:15. (2:06 being fastest). I think its about 120 miles.

I make Catamount in 1:40. (100 miles from my house).

Making sense now, I'm a bit further south. I was impressed though after several seasons doing this and getting stopped frequently on the Taconic and passing through some of the small towns approaching Jiminy.

End of thread-jack.

Back on point: Stratton/Okemo have a shared pass deal for $299 for college students I think.

Also check out Plattekill they usually have dirt cheap student passes, and it's the best skiing in the Catskills (when it's covered that is).

Really it all depends on your transport / lodging options, those costs are far higher than pass costs if you ski frequently.

the stratton okemo and sunapee deal you cant beat. 300 dollars for 3 mountains. Unlimited no blackouts. but it is just out of my reach driving. And i have no place to stay up in vermont. I think im going to go with the windham one for 250.

You didn't mentione whether your a college student or in the youth, HS age but either way pretty much every resort offers a great price for a student pass. As TB points out it's at the highest price point now but, in general, if you go at least 5/6 times, depending on the resort, it's worth it. Pretty simple, divide the number of days you think your going to go into the season pass price, compare it to the day rate at that hill/resort and I bet it's a pretty good deal.

On the day tiks most resorts I know do offer a cheaper youth price but not a big discount especially when you compare it to the price per day with a seasons pass.
