Date Skied: 12/20
Resort or Ski Area: Sugarbush (Lincoln Peak)
Conditions: Packed powder
Trip Report: The temp was cool, high 20s, which was perfect. The condition of the trails was fantastic and kudos to Sugarbush for continuing to blow snow as insurance against the fickle bounty of Mother Nature.
It was, unfortunately, very foggy on the upper mountain. I took one run from the top of North Lynx and the bumps there were nice and soft, but you couldn't see them until they were six inches away. So I settled for lower mountain stuff, which was mostly groomers. I skied off Super Bravo for awhile, then headed back to the Gatehouse Quad.
I don't usually spend much time there, preferring the HGT or CR, but had a surprisingly good time. Even a great time. Sleeper is often packed with kids and beginner-level snowboarders, but it was not crowded at all, so I shot down several times with a few dips into Deeper Sleeper.
