Just got in from Killington and in case anyone is on the fence about skiing tomorrow, I wanted to report - GO!!! Sugarbush was sweet Friday. Could find freshies all over, everything very skiable. Started on Lincoln Peak, did everything there, then did everything on Castlerock including a very tough Rumble. Middle Earth was skiing great! No crowds at all anywhere. After a few more runs we finished the day with a Steins, Mall, Twist send off! Ouch! What a great hill! Thank God Mike and Melinda at the Golden Lion had the hot tub cranked!
Saturday we were off to Killington and the Sunshine Daydream Festival. Great athomosphere at the hill and a pretty solid crowd. Could always find a short lift line and with all the terrain open the trails were not crowded. After missing Andy Z, we zipped up the K1 and did some off piste off Ridge. We then decided to go to Bear, and work our way back to the K1 Base Lodge. Did all the classics, usually just once, and kept moving. The snow was great everywhere so it didn't matter. Did the Fiddle, Outer Limits, etc off Bear. Needles Eye, Vertigo (twice, it was good) Bitersweet, off the Skyship. Upper Superstar, Superstar, Ovation and a really tough Julio off of Superstar Chair. From 2:00 on we lapped the K1. Don't really like Gondis but Downdraft, Cascade, the run with Canyon Chair and adjacent woods were great! Did Powerline. Great two days of skiing again.
Checked out "Playin Dead" with an amazing rendition of Shakedown Street, but unfortunately had to get rolling so cut my Apres ski short.
Definitely my best April ever. Can't miss at Killington or the Bush tomorrow. Get there early. The lots are filling up and you can end up walking a bit.

Nice report, did you do much on Snowdon or South Ridge? (those are two of my favorite areas of the mountain).

Never really went over to Snowdon, Highline closed for an event. Hit the jug on our way to Bear. Andy, we were late, came over at 10:00. Was going to wait a while but my impatient buddy was already in the Gondi line. Was out of work pretty early Thursday and out Friday so I never got your cell, DAMN!. Anyway we skied from 10:00 - 4:00 non-stop Saturday. Vertigo, being able to do the Fiddle and Ovation were a rush! Unbeleivable conditions at both the Bush and K this w/e!

No prob, we were skiing with some beginners/intermediates, so there was a bit of waiting, though would have been nice to at least say hi. Yeah, we went from about 8 until 3:30 Saturday, great conditions for sure.
