Resort: Sugarbush—Lincoln Peak.

Conditions: MG/Thin Natural Cover

Weather: Partly sunny skies giving way to clouds. Temps in upper 20’s.

2008-2009 Report #: 3.

Report: Not too much to report. The Girlfriend and I drove back from Pennsylvania the night before because she wanted to go skiing. My kind of woman. We had to get her pass photo…as much as I tried to not be in it, my right shoulder made an appearance. We booted up and got to the Bravo Express at about 9:30am.

Because it was her first day and because I was sick, we took it easy, taking runs on the groomed stuff with one venture onto Lower Jester, which was skied out and needs more snow. Snowmaking was underway on Ripcord, which looked nice. But she was not quite up for it and I was just not feeling it. Save it for another day I guess.

Jester skied the best I’d say. Organgrinder was groomed and slick, but the lower part had some soft snow on the sides. Deathspout was average…some soft snow on the sides as usual, but a bit too congested. The crowds were not bad. Lunch at Allyn’s was a good idea.
I am hoping that we have some other terrain open next weekend…and that snowmaking continues to open other parts of the mountain.
