Some photos I took on a 4 day trip skiiing and riding in sugarbush, vt. Beautiful weather and great conditions! Moguls on castlerock run were terrific. Egans woods was amazing!

Of the 4 trails in your poll my favorite is Castlerock Run but I usually take Cotillion instead of Lower Castlerock. My favorite trail at Sugarbush varies with daily conditions and what chair I am riding

Welcome coolerthanice12! I really like Middle Earth, but I've been digging CR Run more the past few times I've been up. Rumble trumps both.

Probably none of the above are my favorite. I like them all, but I think I like Paradise the best, and maybe Rumble or Liftline better, depending on the conditions.

Every run you guys mention are great.. Sugarbush is a great mountain. My only issue related specifically to traversing the mountain. Getting from one peak to the next or one base lodge to the next seems to require a bit of uphill walking. Did you guys notice that. Next to Jay and Whiteface it's my favorite mountain in the east.

Middle Earth of those listed--- Paradise and Rumble would be my top two at LP.

Im an advanced skiier mostly skiing single blacks, and found castlerock run to be amazing. Unfortunately it snowed 4 feets of snow the day after I left so I was unable to experience the legendary mad river valley snowfall. Otherwise, i would have enjoyed paradise more because it was very icy when i skied it. The moguls at castlerock are perfectly spaced compared to those on stein's. Definately will be back there in the future and hope to be able to one day tackle rumble, what makes it so difficult?

It's not overly difficult - just narrow in spots, and big bumps, not necessarily moguls, but rather stumps and rocks. Steep in spots, but not ass puckering. It's one helluva ride though. Enjoy it! Watch the water bars at the bottom in low snow.

Yeah it sounds like I need to ski a few more seasons before tackling it though. What are some of the best trails for tree skiing and for powder?
