Heading to Sugarbush for the first time next week. Where is the best place to buy lift tickets? I was recommended to Inverness Ski Shop for gear, any other good shops in the area? What other mountains are close in the area that you would choose to hit just to break up the week? Thanks for the info! :daffy:

For discount lift tickets, go to one of these places. Be sure to call first to make sure they have a sufficient number of tickets available.

For ski shops, it depends on what you're looking for. Inverness is good but not by any means the best. It does have a snowboard shop, Pure Snowboard, next door. Inverness has a lot of goods soft goods & the guy is a good bootfitter.

I prefer Alpine Options on the Access Rd. or Mountainside Ski Shop in Sugarbush Village for skis & boots, however. Better selection, more knowledgeable salespeople, etc. VT North is also good. Just my personal preference. Alpine Options also has a lot of snowboard equipment.

Have fun!
