Here are two pictures of sugarloaf on Easter sunday in 2006 and again in 2007. What a difference a year makes, even with the slow start to the season. Easter 2006 had 42 trails open, with 125 open in 2007:

God that's purty....

But between 2006 and 2007, someone stole all the ski racks. :)

:p :p :p :p

The racks are behind me in the picture from this year.

At Bulwinkle's the ski racks are 3/4 buried in snow.:-o

see, now if this was Killzone, they'd accuse you of covering up the truth that the ski racks where actually not covered with snow, and hence, conditions at anyplace besides Killington Sux0red. :)

slow down folks, Easter is a floating date and never at the same time 2 years in a row. Those pics may be Easter comparison pics, but Easter 2006 was 4/16.

What a difference a Day or a Week makes , for sure.

I just posted the pictures for an interesting comparison, not to draw any judgements. Easter weekend last year had a cold rain on saturday and a blinding fog with sub-freezing temperatures on sunday.

We skied Saddleback last Easter weekend on saturday in a downpour, much different thankfully this year.

Just the luck of the draw that we planned out ski vacation while mother nature planned a Nor' Easter.:daffy:

Seriously, a week ago and I bet the mtn looked worse than in the 2006 pic. I always think these comparos are pretty weak, as if the mtn got an inch its going to look amazing in a pic, regardless of the skiing.
