Yup, as far as Sugarloaf is concerned, he was on target. Too bad he had to infer it on all the ski areas.

I don't fully agree. The camera is pointing towards the valley now, but there was still some measurable snow up there. Hard to tell from a grainy web cam. Nobody really knows unless they go and look for themselves like Steve did at Attitash. Perhaps it was a photo opp with a secondary thought of, "hey, if it sticks around, great!" I'm sure Mount Snow thought the same thing about Launch Pad. If they blow over that tonight or tomorrow, it's technically base building.

Could possibly be. But I'd expect more fanfare on their website and the such, but nada. It's kind of disappointing, but at least we have other ski areas which are appearing ready to roll. :-D

Honestly, I'd bet their going to kick the guns in starting tonight again.
