This will be a lazy report with no pics and I'm sorry. It was too cold to use a camera. The Loaf isn't fully open terrain-wise and the Spillway chair is still down but we had a friggin blast skiing and drinking there for the last two days. The snow quality is quite good considering recent events.

Weather both days was mostly sunny and chilly. The summit chair didn't spin on the first day due to winds, I presume. It ran yesterday, though. It was college week but not crowded by Loaf standards. Yesterday was dead, actually. I ate a Bag burger yesterday which isn't important but it was so goddamn good it bears mentioning.

We hit the pub at the Sugarloaf Inn both nights as well as the Widowmaker. Last night there was a Dave Matthews tribute band there and the show was more fun than it had any right to be. My buddy just dropped me off in North Conway. I think I'm still drunk from last night.

Haven't heard and it didn't occur to me to ask for some reason. They were blowing snow like crazy. The first day they blew on Skidder all day. The next day it looked awesome but it was roped off for some reason. Should've ducked it.

The traverse trail that heads to Spillway from skier's right of the Superquad was roped off also, which I found strange. I suspect it has to do with the recent incident.

Not really. Conditions were consistent mountainwide. A bunch of good manmade. Each day we started to find the ice toward the end but overall I'd say conditions are good.

When we're short on natural snow I think Sugarloaf's conditions tend to be better than many other places. They probably dodge the temperature swing bullets more successfully than most due to latitude.
