Just keep March 26-28 open.

If it's AZ related, then one can therefore asume that bumps will be involved ;) If it's that weekend, then it's in direct competition with Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge. Could it be the SL/AZ Bumpapolooza vs. BMMC????

Should be sooner Greg...early-to-mid March, worth the try.

The only other option would be 3/20-21, and that conflicts with the Sundown comp where many of us will be.

I hear they're relocating the mountain to central MA for better accessibility. It's gonna be quite the project from what I understand.

Phase II is to reverse global warming and eliminate the freeze thaw cycles in central MA for season long powder conditions. Of course the bean counters want to cheap out and just put in a bullet train from Boston and leave the mountain where it is.

Whoa. On the calendar if I can hook up with some other folks for lodging.

BTW... if this is for a bump comp, I will be up on the snowfields and see you all in the bar ;)

Still up in the air whether a bump comp is part of it all, but the bar part definitely is....
 Still working on all the details with the folks at the Loaf. Hopefully more info tomorrow.

The part about high-speed rail to/from the Bangor [& north] and Kingfield areas to Portland, and then optionally on to Boston just hasn't happenned yet. It's a serious/fantastic chance at both employment in either Portland and Boston for what people like me (and other Maine residents) were making in Mass before moving for living-pace, for people wanting to get up north(Sugarloaf..etc) quickly without the long and gas-draining drive, and for the auto-rental dealerships.
The morons in both state government and Congress only talk about upkeep of the NYC to Washington line(s)....

I'd probably be more interested in the proposed high speed link between Boston and Montreal. With several stops in northern VT, it could open up some terrain for me, plus Montreal is fairly close to Tremblant. They should probably stop talking about this stuff and start building it...

Agreed, not just one or two links are needed, but a bunch would not only facilitate employment & business...it would eliminate some traffic & gas consumption. Of course...big oil is looking out for our best interests...we can't have anything that would interrupt that...:puke:

So true....

Great conversation. Working out some more details. Will post something in T&E once we pin down the major items.
