Real nice pics by the two posters. Having worked there for 11 years, would have to say if you want a challenge beyond your expectation of some place a bit more rolly polly, come here. It's not always deep(-- is it ever in NE except during backdoor Lows that park themselves for a few days--?) but always steep.

Love the Loaf - whole family learned to ski there (nice l o n g bunny slope and the wee ones loved the snowmobile ride back to the top) And yes it was below zero the whole time. Didn't even notice and didn't care. (Best part about cold weather, it eventual gets to a balmy 5 degrees and it feels like spring).

The neighbors still chuckle about my pathetic newbie self tumbling down Sluice.

Fast forward one year, and many additional ski hours later, we really explored the mountain. And the kids loved it too. They always want to go back and ski it.

If you've never been, go up for whatever AZ is cooking up. It is time in the car well spent.
