We head out to Jamesport (on the Peconic Bay) everyweekend, my inlaws have a house on the beach, so we sail, windsurf, jetski and have happy hours on the beach (with my gas powered blender of course!!) If were not in Jamesport then we are at our house up on Cape Cod (Eastham) for more water activities and happy hour (the blender comes in a backpack!)

Motorcycle Races.
The deal in our household is, he embraces skiing and my addiction to skiing in the winter, if I embrace his motorcycle racing in the summer.
So, I'm gearing up and ready to be the Pit Tootsie!

Lot's of road biking. My wife and I are doing 2 back to back one week bike tours in July, one week in Amish country and one week in Vermont , over 1000 miles in 2 weeks. Will do several Century rides too. Trying to get in about 5000 miles on the bike this year. Also hiking in Vermont and NH.

The family and I will be driving from VT to Minnesota to canoe for a week in the Boundary Waters. While at home we'll swim, garden, and canoe all we can!

I don't know if anyone else noticed the insane number of troopers on I-91 in Mass on Sunday, but I bet I was the only one pulled over for speed on an on-ramp. No ticket, I think all he could do was put the generic "speeding" offense down if he wanted to give me one. Changed my opinion about Mass troopers, though (nice guy, unlike the other one who threatened destruction of property.)

The amount of state troopers on I-91 on sunday was rediculous, and I had my cruise control set at 72mph on the way up and 69mph on the way down. In both directions travel was 99% in the right lane. Passing the cops out on the shoulder with lazer guns aimed at traffic was comical.

I must have hit it pretty good on Sunday then. I hardly saw any troopers and spent most of the time between 75-80 going up and back.

La, la, la, la ... I didn't hear that.

(We did see a few troopers who had already pulled people over. At least, in my few moments of consciousness I did.)

That's my usual speed going up to Sugarloaf where there are far fewer speed traps/police on the road.

I just try not to be the fastest guy in my vicinity...let them get busted.
