From a Sugarloaf patroller in a conversation with friends on facebook: Going to need a few more good storms to get things going.

I am going with; "it's a pattern change, baby!!!!" as my attitude and assuming that there will be more storms in the next two weeks. I haven't been skiing yet and I have to believe in something.

That and some of the weather-heads are starting to say that this may be the start of a pattern change for us.

Depending on how many inches net they get from this weekend, I certainly wouldn't think it's impossible for the woods to be skiing up there in two weeks. The long range is active, so it's not out of the question "something" could happen.

Well looks like we are going! Wife and son out voted me. They have been watching the trail count going up and they do not see a warming trend and expect more snow making, so they are good with it. I want to ski in Brackett Basin but may not happen, my wife could careless - it we can we will is her attitude. My son likes the trees but is more concerned about park features. One mistake I made - let my wife book it. She booked a two bedroom unit for three of us. Cha-ching!

Talked with someone who skied there yesterday....He skied Toke Road & Gondi Glade. He said it was "a little sketchy" in spots with some "things" poking through but "doable". He felt the loaf was one more "good storm" away from officially opening up some glades. Depending how much comes from Saturday's storm, we could see some stuff opening up as early as this weekend. An active weather pattern with some decent accumulation for tomorrow, and another shot on Monday hopefully gets the glades officially open.

One of the other reasons, we bailed was we were suppose to do two other days other resorts and those are not worth it either.

They will be over 100 soon! We will be in the woods! Gotta have faith!

They need a Miracle for it to be even close to having bracket basin open and all the other stuff. But hey if it happens we can always re book. The 14 day cancelation, without being able to rebook at a later date kills it.
