Wow.

They were saying April 9th. Must have gotten hammered on Saturday. I thought they had very deep cover on Friday. What happened?

these past few days really put the hurt on the slopes. I was at the River today which was great, but I wouldn't be suprised if everything west of North Peak is closed after next weekend due to accessibility too and from. Things were getting pretty bare just about everywhere on the hill. There were some trails that still had great coverage, but even they had a very limited base that looked like it could be gone very quickly.

They had the finals for their Bust and Burn mogul competition today and by the time the last competitors went, there was exposed mud in several troughs.

I'm glad I got out today as realistically I won't have the opportunity again for two weeks. IF the weather keeps up likes it has been, I would have to guess that Easter Sunday will be the last day of the season at SR.

I honestly wouldn't be suprised at all if K-Mart is the only place open in the east past Easter this season
