Date Skier Monday April 3rd
Conditions soft corn snow a few areas of firm frozen granular( a bonus)
Temps. Mid 50's Sunny

I headed out of Barker just after 9 trying to make my way over to Aurora.
I quickly hit Aiglow and Northern lights. Upper Airglow was firm and narrow, but good snow to edge in. The lower half was amazing all day long I was on untracked snow. The piles did not build up. It was snow to just make nice mellow turns in. Northernlights was just as good if not better. More people were on that. (12 maybe)
but the right side again was untracked all day.
About 10am I worked over to Jordan to ski Rogue Angel. That was real nice. I heard it froze up over the weekend and was not open Sunday. Well is was amazing Monday after the groomers broke it up and it set up. Wow! Some of the runs on that side were still firm at 11am and made for great turns.

12.... I decided to head over to White cap and do White heat. I know it gets alot of talk, but I like that trail. With Shockwave being closed it was my 1st option. I took 2 beautiful runs down it and was starting to feel burnt a bit. I took two runs on Obsession which was my favorite run of the day. The snow was perfect...yes perfect for me on the upper half. the snow was still firm and you could really dig in an edge without much work. It was like
dancing.

Around 1 I headed to the Foggy Goggle for a quick lunch and then headed, back to hit Airglow and Northern Lights a few more times. Still pretty much just myself and maybe 10- other people over there. A large English group was seen sometimes, but that was it.

Around 2 I header to Barker to ski Sunday Punch and Monday Mourning. Wow they were in fantastic shape. Monday Mourning had a race on it in the am,but I got my run late in the day and was Glad I did. About 2.45 I could just about stand and headed home.

Easily the best day of the year by far. The groomers and Snow makers here are the best IMO. Just a fanatastic day. Taking long weekends in April and March are just the best.

Terry Thankx I'll keep in touch.
I kind of want to stay right near the mountain. I was thinking of going to the Season pass BBQ for Sunday River on Sunday afternoon. I really am just playing everything by ear.
