Maybe not open tomorrow:
Like the Red Sox, we've encountered a setback.
Today's weather has turned significantly warmer than expected, and as a result we've been forced to take snowmaking offline. On top of this, with the warmer weather this afternoon it likely won't get as cold tonight as expected.
At this point we're still aiming to open for skiing and riding on Saturday morning and have our lift operations team up on the mountain right now moving snow by hand, but there's a chance the weather won't allow us to open. If we are still able to open as planned, terrain will be limited to the T2 trail only and a section of walking will be required between the bottom of the trail and the lift mid-station.
We'll be posting an early-morning update to the Mountain Report on our web site by 6:30am tomorrow with the day's outlook after we've seen what the mountain looks like following tonight's snowmaking.
Stay tuned, and think cold thoughts.
