Looks interesting. Still needs a bunch more skiing in though, from the looks of it.

Carrie sent the exact same pictures 10 minutes later, which is kinda funny since she didn't meet up with Jeff. She said the bumps are like big ice balls, even the ones on Ex. That sounds about right for a day or two after mid-winter seeding. They should work in with a little help from natural and man-made top coating.

Looks like he found Carrie, who is shown (I think it's her) in this pic of the Ex bumps:

The bumps in the last pic are low angle beginner bumps, they're usually spaced a bit further apart. They'll grow in size as they get top coated with snow , as they grow the distance between them will shrink.

Yeah. Pretty typical. By Sunday, they'll look like real bumps. They do look nice and symmetrical though.

Yup, the bumps on Ex were a bit far apart, even IMHO. Still, there was a nice line from midway down to the bottom. Once I met up with Jeff (which wasn't long after I sent Brian the duplicate photos) we skied the Ex bumps on every run. In the middle even! When we stopped at 1PM, it was getting icy in between. Still edgeable though. Both of us got little air off the bottom bumps. We were so radical. :D

Is there a Jr. C.L.I.T. league?

Had a lot of fun out there today on the Ex bumps. Seems like they just seeded them last night with no top coating, but by the time we were leaving it was getting icy between them. They definitely were far apart, could actually slalom around them with out touching them.

They were a great confidence builder and and I was even starting to figure how to hit them and to turn on them! Thumbs up to Sundown for putting them up.

As far as upper NE, there were definitely some weird looking piles/whales sitting up there, but was all top coated last night so you guys have your work cut out for you tomorrow. I also bumped into the infamous JP in the men's room and chatted for a bit before he had to hit the stall, but looks like he now has an employee pass so he should be good to go.

Definitely a great confidence builder! I was telling Jeff that I want to get out often over the next week to keep up with them as they progress, now that we sort of have the hang of how they were today. Grow with them, KWIM?

7-10 pm. Snow- light to moderate (even a little sleet early- odd that it went to snow, not the other way around). Laps on Temptor. New bumps on NE and Temptor-- Temptor spaced Waay far apart- but by 10:00 were skiing a little better with new snow-- still no good lines due to distance- a couple of good kickers to practice my dumper air-- yeehaw. Tried to ski some lines in for the morning crew but didn't hit them all- still some little ice humps here and there (particularly on NE)- but temptor looking a little better (except for spacing).

EX bumps icy and even farther apart-only did them once due to ice and distance.

Won't be there solo am-- cost of tonight. Will be there 10 ish with kids.
