Hello, My name is Mike aka fisterfam. I have a dilema and a buddy of mine suggested doing a search of forums and post there. I am a soldier stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and I started a website a few years ago that hasn't gotten a lot of publicity. The website is www.takeasoldierfishing.com and it is meant to bring soldiers and civilians together.
I was out fishing with a civilian friend of mine and he told me that this was the only way that he knew how to show me that he appreciated my serving in the Army.....to take me fishing. Well I do appreciate it alot and I know of a few other people that did as well when I did a small TASF tourney (for bass) here in Texas. The response was overwhelming. I had this idea for the site and it was donated for free thanks to websmiths.

If people would like to get involved and be able to take a soldier outdoors then please post on my site. This site is not limited to just fishing. It ranges to all the outdoors and activities. If you can think of it then so can a soldier. Read the forum and let me know what you think. Also if guides and businesses would like to give a trip away to a soldier or a group then please e-mail me and we can have a drawing or something. Individuals that are posting should understand that there are alot of soldiers that would love to go but may not be able to afford it unless they are stationed there. Join the site/become a member and post for your state or region. I know that I would love to have a chance to win a hunt or offshore fishing or a skiing trip. Or even just a vacation for the entire family. Thank you for your time.

Also if you know a soldier then please pass my site on to him or her because this site is really for them. Just a place that civilians can say thank you in a different way. Thanks again Mike Nashif SGT US ARMY
