So, Tenney Mountain "opened" this past weekend:

Impressive, huh? They're charging $20 to ski that?

That's like the big deal over Dixville Notch being the first to report election returns. Like those 50 votes are gonna make a difference. I mean, what do they think this is, Florida?

Ok, so I took that picture, and it actually makes it look like less than there is there, it's about 350 ft. long top to bottom, which I know still isn't much... but it was definitely worth $20 for the 50-75 or so people who turned out on that yucky day (it started raining at noon) - I don't know how many people showed up the next day. I don't blame them for charging $20, since that any-weather snowmaking technology cost so much!!

but most of the crowd was pretty happy just to be out and hitting the jump and the rail - and there was some BIG air to be had, well, and everyone yard-saled it at least once, so it was entertaining in any event. definitely diehards.
