Anyone else ever check out ski areas on TerraServer? It's pretty cool to see resorts from a satellite's perspective. Here's Killington.

For even more fun, use the advanced search function and enter the house number, street and zip code of where you live. It will either pull up your house on your street or the vicinity.

I have used this before, and where it is most handy is to scope out our backcountry lines before you try and go ski them. You can tell what you are getting yourself into before you even leave your house. Definatley a useful resource.

One of my favs:

Jiminy Peak

This one was taken in 1997 and it looks like the Widow White's area was still in progress. Also, no Wild Turkey! I didn't realize that was such a new trail...

Why would you be nervous to visit a website?

Well I enjoyed visiting anytime anyone would post a ski area link, but to try it out on my own? I just didn't think I'd know how to navigate.

ASC, big up your status dude! Welcome back!
