I wanted to thank everyone for all the tips and help they gave me here. I had a great ski season (considering the weather), and look forward to next year with even more anticipation. I hope I get a chance to ski with some of you next year as well.
Good group of folks.
Ski on...

Hang around this summer. The forums get a bit slow in April in May, but get pretty busy again in June and beyond.

Thanks for your contributions and enthusiasm as well, Sheik.

What are you talking about???? The season isn't over yet! Artic outbreak and snow next week. I'm serious.

I'll second Sheik's "thank you" (and compliment him on the obscure Zappa reference with his name). This forum has been a wealth of information and the "real life" trip reports gave me reason to ski again at hills that I hadn't been to for years and immensely enjoyed (Pico in particular). Unless we get a bunch of Mother Nature to carry the season deep into April or May, my schedule is saying wax 'em and store 'em until next fall.

Thanks again everyone.

yeah I don't get it. The skiing is actually pretty good, and about to get better if you go east.

Had a fantastic day at MRG today. Some of the best skiing of the season (together with Valentine's Day and St. Patty's Day). The season's not over!!!!

In any case, summer's the time for good skiers to become great.Build up that aerobic base, lots of leg presses and start off next October where you left off!
