*sigh*

Haven't been out cycling much, or doing much of any non productive exercise. Last road ride was 35 miles and was tough. Which is ridiculous, 35 miles a month and a half ago would have been a recovery ride. Although it was 4000 feet of vert.

A lot of my exercise recently has been working on the neverending house project and spending a lot of time on the working end of a 6 lb splitting maul or a Husqvarna 372xp chainsaw.

It just depends what kind of sandwich..I could eat a GrilledSteezeSandwich everyday..

I was just digging a hole and mixing cement..that is good exercise..now I'm thinking about what kind of Hoagie to have for lunch..

I sit on my rear for a good portion of the day. :-?

So far today..I've already had three good bursts of exercise which had me sweating..

#1. Loading a monument along with wheelbarrow, tools, 8...50-pound bags of ready mix cement..and a several 5 gallon jugs of water onto the truck..

#2..digging a 2 foot deep hole...mixing cement and scooping cement around the monument in the hole..

#3..uncrating and throwing away wood and banding for 13 granite bases. Good thing I wore my dirty clothes to work..\

Afterwork..I'm hitting the Eliptical machine for a half hour..then chinese food and beer..

Yup, I'm just about the perfect height + weight for an NFL linebacker (6'3" and 230), the problem is my arms weigh about 20lbs less than the linebackers and my wiast is 4 to 6" larger than their's ;) ;)

38 inch waist here..it stinks having a pear shaped body..lol..my arms are solid and my legs are solid but that just makes my gut stick out more..lol

I'm mowing the lawn after work to get outside and move a bit. I fired up the leave blower yesterday for awhile and pulled and pushed that around the yard for awhile.

Yeah, but still at 6'3" and 230, you've got about 3" and 70 lbs on me... if you told me to floss in a menacing enough manner, I'd probably start flossing.

Yup, the "sheer physical bulk intimidation factor" is my 5th line of attack that I'll use on my patients to get them to take care of their mouths properly! ;)

It comes inbetween the "who would want to kiss a disgusting mouth like yours" line and the "Woo Hoo! Your mouth is going to pay for my 2 week ski vacation this year" line :)

I clenched my butt cheeks about 100 times watching the market drop while doing a little dance that gold's holding up. Now I've got swampass and shin splints. Then I ate a mini KitKat bar.

Is 38" your pants size or what you measure when you put a measuring tape around your middle at your belly button?

I know I'm done with my diet when I put the tape around my stomach at my belly button and read 36". 40" is the red flag that you're risking health issues due to too much abdominal fat. Japan has set their limit for men at 33 1/2" and that's a bit much for a 6'2" white guy. I have no plans to try out for Mr Ethiopia.

Oddly I'm 5'8ish, 200 pounds, yet my waste is a 34. It stays at a 34 even if I get down to 180. I'm all thighs, chest, shoulders and beer gut, yet comfortably wear 34 inch pants.

Slacked Sunday through Tuesday, but had a good work out tonight after work. The rower is about to shit the bed though.

Anyone ever have exercise equipment worked on at home by a repair service? If it's cheaper than the $300 replacement cost for the machine, I might look into it.

Pants size..but the 38 inch pants aren't tight..the delivery driver at my work outweighs me by 20-30 pounds and also wears 38 inch pants and his gut hangs over his pants..because he wears them so low..I could probably rock a 34 inch if I wore them homeboy style.

Err...no. I can't even shop at the "Big and Tall" shops...you have to be "both". :<

JCPenney has decent tall-guy stuff. Surprisingly, Cabela's also carries some decent stuff...especially outerwear.

I have a friend who kinda has a similar situation, but a little less size. He's 6'4" with probably a 34" inseam and I'm guessing a 31" waist.
