I have so many horrible wipeout pics and vids of me I figure I had to make a thread about it. Here are bunch of sequences and vids, plus pathetic excuses of why I didn't land it (almost always complete bs, but it makes me feel better inside )

#1. The pine tree was in the landing. Without it there I definitely would have stuck it. (Photos by Eatskisleep) At Wildcat.

#2. The landing was too flat. (Photos by Riverc0il) At Burke.

#5. Marc screwed me up. (Vid by Marc) At. Wachusett.

#6. Still uploading... (Mt. Baker)

#7. And finally the best wipe out of them all. If the whole tumble was caught on vid it would be borderline amazing. I got about double as much air as I thought I would and I knew this right when I took off. You notice this by the excessive flailing. (Vid by my friend) At Mt. Baker.

Let me see if I can dig anything else up...

It would be cool if you included the locations of your crashes. I'm particularly interested in #7

cuirous what kind of camara was used to get those sequences in like that. must have a pretty quick shutter speed. If there's one complaing about my camara it's that the quickest possible time fram between shots is maybe 2 seconds.

Suffered my second worst crash ever this week. Hit a ridge in front of a cat track at panorama. My wife says I did a full front flip then landed flat on my back, knocked me silly for a while and I don't know how I didn't break things. No pics of course or I would send them in to country fried videos...and here's you're sign.

The sequences I took were shot on a Canon PowerShot A630. Nice part about the camera is it has a "custom" mode setting so I can have a mode pre-set to rapid fire sequence shotting rather than having to change the settings, which makes getting action shots on short notice very easy.

I can not recall the rapid fire time but it certainly does the trick as I usually get at least one or two high quality action shots per sequence. Unless, of course, I am taking pictures of awf170. In that case, I usually get one or two high quality wipe out pictures per sequence  Though some of the Burke shots were a little fuzzy due to camera movement.

I like this thread, but my sprained(broken?) thumb doesn't find it amusing.

Such a tight line at Wildcat... I remember just watching you do that and thinking "..."

More wildcat:

Backseat, I don't think he went down, but a good photo still

You need to tuck those knees when your hucking. Your flailing way to much.
