All correct.

I just didn't need a "one hour prime time special" to tell me he was going for billions of dollars in Miami instead of billions of dollars in NY.

Wade gets hurt frequently...LeBron may wind up being the man for long periods anyway.

It's sounding like he paid for the special himself. Now that is an ego!

I used to love basketball and the NBA.

I still love college ball, but I can't watch the NBA anymore.

This whole thing is/was truly dumb.

They say Boston is a big sports town...but Cleveland is a town where the fans went to the stadium parking lot and tailgated every weekend during football season while the stadium was empty and the team was non-existent. I guess Cleveland fans take their sports seriously, and thus the defection of King James is a huge big deal.

I am trying, but I really don't get it. It's just a game. (Yeah...and the World Cup f soccer is still going on...?!?)

this blew my mind when i read it.

http://business-news.thestreet.com/...a/658551072-a-letter-from-cavaliers-majority/

from the OWNER of an NBA team....

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

so does the owner of a team who makes a personal guarantee open himself, or the team, to a lawsuit? if Miami wins the title next year will the CAV season ticket holders sue for their money back?

While I thought the idea of a special was pretty lame.........it did generate 2.5 million in revenue all donated to the Boys and Girls Club.

In this case, I would counter against the Machiavellian rule.... the end does not justify the means. The guy could have raise that revenue easily in a less self centered and less narcissistic way.

btw... I got sick of following pro sports long ago, the last straw was the NFL, past couple of years they have been to protecting the qb and making it more of a passing game. These rules are making it more of a small group of individuals sport rather than a team sport which is what the NBA has already become.
