I saw it on Showtime awhile ago. The kid has become even better than his dad. He slayed MacDaddy at Revelstoke to win the FRT a month or so ago.

SPOILER

Oh and also a sad foreshadowing when they interviewed Coombs at Charmonix. It was almost eerie to listen to him talk about Petersen when he would die himself not too long after the filming

I caught it at a really small, intimate showing at the Stone Church in my town and there was a cool Q & A session after the film. I should buy this movie.

Gripping story. Nice movie. Lots of great skiing, 14 year old kid notwithstanding.

This, coming from someone who doesn't watch much ski movie.

Don't post here much, but I'll give a biased review.

Worth checking out. Way different from the typical ski porn. Movie has soul, but mebbe it's a bit rough around the edges.

My bias == I skied with the writer/directory Bill Kerig for half a day two winters ago in Snowbird. He's a great guy, great skier and we (Epic Ski Gathering) got a free screening of the movie.

Plus any movie that has Kasha Rigby in it (although briefly) can't suck too badly.
