I wouldn't mind going to that, but it's not likely to work out for me. Let us know how it goes!

Still gotta get the book too...

Just finished watching the DVD that Trekchick was uber kind to send to me for being the high donor for Marc's Pan Mass Challenge bike ride, and all I can say is WOW!! Just a phenomenal piece of work from the story to the narratives (especially Glen Plake's) to the cinematography. Seriously just captures the essence of the mountains and the sport that all of us here love so dearly!

Word of advice when going to see the movie, DON'T buy the giant soda! You won't want to get up to hit the bathroom during the movie! ;)

I hear a rumour that you, like me, are not much of a reader.

I am the sort of girl who would have rented the video of Huck Finn to write a book report, however, I actually read the Edge of Never.

I know......Shocking, huh!

That would be a giant beer!!

I'm a good way through the book and it reads well. Can't wait to meet Bill Kerig tomorrow night. Hope to have him sign my copy.

The big suprise for me (book) is that Trevor took lots of unneeded risks.

That is the one thing that kinda bothered me in reading the book. I guess the "chick" gene kicks in and says, "why did you do THAT with that kid?"

Doesn't mean that its not a great book, but still.....that kinda tugged at me.

Just got back from the screening here in Boston. Two thumbs up! There were only about 20 of us in a tiny screening room. Bill Kerig took some questions after. Nice guy. He signed my book: "For the tribe...keep the stoke!"

Very cool. Was hoping to drag the family out to the showing in CT tonight, but only the 9 year old is biting. Think my family has lost its ski vibe! Must be the lack of white and all these warm temps. Guess I'll get the DVD and do the home viewing.

Either way, HIGHLY recommend it. One of the best ski films I've seen yet!
