So tired of all the BS restrictions.
Eh - does not seem like much for restrictions on this event. Other than showing your vax card or negative test it seems like it will pretty much be business as usual. Not having the bib draw is a bit of a bummer though since that was always a fun Friday evening event.

I'm only seeing proof of negative test OR vaccination. This seems pretty base-line these days for such an event. Or are there more restrictions?

Seems like it's either of those 2 things and then having a pulse, and you're good to go! ;)

Certainly no big deal to get in. Show your vax (pic or card) an no prob. It was cancelled after a few runs but it was cold and the wind was blowing like stink so what could they do? Super challenging for the few racers that got to go- they could not see a thing!

Is this the first time they've had to scratch a race at Killington? I don't remember one before now, but I could be wrong.

I thought I read that they charged admission. Was that the case?

I am almost certain that is correct.

Tomorrow's weather looks much better!
Yup, the GS start got moved downhill I think in '19 due to high winds at the normal start. That was as close as they had gotten to a cancelation. It's NE, was only a matter of time before winds would cause one, even in November.

A minute from the Alta exit off the I-15!

I'm amazed they keep passing snow control. You'd figure 1 out of 5 November's here in the NE they'd fail. Covid might've been a bright side for them last year as it cancelled the race and the November was the most mild I can ever remember. No way they would've been able to make it happen.

They wouldn't have had a problem last year, the week before Thanksgiving was in the single digits.

I have learned that when it comes to snowmaking prowess and Killington, especially when given a situation as daunting as getting enough snow on Superstar by mid November to host Worldcup races, don't doubt them!!
