I realized that after my post...both that it was the wrong area and that I should shut my mouth!

No man, you were right the first time...."The Stairs" was known as "The Light" by the locals. They're all ticked that they put the light on the map.

There were a lot of different areas being talked about on here. Wasn't sure which was which...but that area sounded like the light...I skied it before it was on the map with Rick Svencer from Kmart's ski school. We skied a lot of stuff that's not on the map...it surprised me since the mountain is pretty well cut up.

i wouldnt worry too much about mentioning the light. Its very well known by even casual kmart skiers.
