You and @Hawk would know a lot better than I would, but like you said, I'd highly doubt that the masses show up. For Sugarbush's sake, I hope they do and I hope they buy a ton of food and beverages. But I'd be stunned.

Historically what has closing weekend looked like? I would think it's just the die hards at that point. Ski for two hours, party in the courtyard for 2 hours. Take a nap and then enjoy dinner.

Yea...that's pretty much what it has looked like. Very variable depending on the weather. But never really overly crowded even on nice sunny warm days. FWIW, they did do some "Free" skiing closing weekends under Win. So that part is not without precedent. I don't remember crazy crowds back then. And today you have a smaller pool of people to pull those "free" skiers from with so many people already being Ikon passholders.

We have our answer...Steins to Coffee Run and hike down Snowball, ski down Spring Fling. I hope everyone who makes it has a great weekend.

PS. Lift lines look awful :p

Any guesses on what day the last bit of snow on the mountain will melt off? I'm going with 6/2.

As a side note, I wish that SB would keep all the web cams running on the website. I know that you can find them on youtube, but it's so much easier just going to the website. I like to be able to peek around at what's going on and get a glimpse of the mountain.

I really wish they would keep them all running. I also like watching and peaking at them from time to time even in the summer. (FWIW, for me I think it is easier accessing them from Youtube rather than the SB website).

Sugarbush report is, um, dated...or ahead of itself:p:

The Sugarbush Resort Golf Club remains open daily through Sunday, October 20th. The Sugarbush Health and Recreation Center is open daily. Summer mountain activities have ended for the summer, and we're hard at work preparing for winter operations. Thank you all for a great summer!
